Nicole talks soap operas, doomscrolling, and why relaxing somehow became another thing we’re supposed to be good at.

In a world where we have more entertainment, more content, and more ways to “relax” than ever — why does it still feel so hard to actually unwind? We’re always scrolling, checking, tracking, and optimizing — but for what? Maybe what you actually need is to chill out for a second. No goals. No self-improvement. No pressure to make the moment useful. So: What is your nothing?

The conversation was sparked by a reel from Hannah Young, @uhhuhhannah, whose original post about our moms having soap operas got Nicole thinking about what we’ve lost in the way we rest.

Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is stop treating ourselves like a project. You don’t have to be together all the time. Around here, mostly together is more than enough.
